Is Ses Salines Mallorca’s hidden food paradise?
Excelent food, no waiting lines
Mallorca… Stunning beaches, days filled with sunshine and beach bars serving the best cocktails and snacks. But if you don’t want to miss out on some amazing food spots, be sure to discover more inland villages, like Ses Salines, as well. Tucked away in the south of the island, this charming town offers a slower pace, a more authentic atmosphere, and some incredible food experiences. A place where you can enjoy high-quality food without the long queues and crowded terraces.
Lunch spots & restaurants you must try in Ses Salines:
A town made for food lovers
Ses Salines
No rushing crowds, no overwhelming traffic, just a relaxed village vibe where everything revolves around slow living and, of course, good food. From cozy lunch spots to more refined dining experiences, this small town offers something for everyone. And the best part? Even in June, we didn’t need a single reservation.
So why spend your time waiting in line in a busy city, when you can sit down here and enjoy your meal right away? But sst, Ses Salines might just be Mallorca’s best-kept secret.

Lunch at Triple: My favourite
One of the absolute highlights in Ses Salines was Triple Restaurant. The first time we passed by, it honestly caught us a bit off guard, a restaurant filled with teddy bears and pink umbrellas isn’t exactly what you expect to be an excellent food hotspot. But once we decided to have lunch here, we immediately regretted not coming sooner during our trip.
The sharing food was excellent: fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared.
If you’re traveling with kids, this place is an absolute gem. Teddy bears are seated at some tables, almost like they’re waiting for their own meals, and our little one was completely charmed by it. It turned the wait for food into something fun and entertaining.
We came here for lunch, but honestly? This is the kind of place you’d happily return to for dinner without a second thought.

Cassai Gran: Dining in nature
For a completely different setting, we headed to Cassai Gran, a bit further down the main street. Surrounded by greenery, this place feels like a hidden oasis. It’s the perfect spot to escape the heat and slow down for a while. The atmosphere is calm, stylish, and effortlessly beautiful.
The food? Just as impressive. Fresh, well-presented, and full of Mediterranean flavours that perfectly match the setting. If you’re looking for a place where you can truly unwind while enjoying a great meal, this is it.

Ses Salines
A culinary alternative to Mallorca’s hotspots
It’s easy to get drawn into Mallorca’s popular cities, where restaurants are packed and waiting times can quickly add up. But Ses Salines offers something different. Here, you’ll find the same, if not better, quality of food, without the crowds. No long lines, no rushed meals, just a relaxed experience where you can truly enjoy what’s on your plate.
